The GameLens Hub gaming blog is the website of the GameLens YouTube channel, which reviews games in Tamil. It needed to work in Tamil and English, show the channel’s videos and give the owner’s own mobile games a proper home. It is live at gamelenshub.com.
What I built for the GameLens Hub gaming blog
- A dark gaming theme with a light-mode switch, built around the GameLens logo colours.
- Tamil at the main address and English under /en/, with linked translations and hreflang tags.
- Game reviews with a score out of 10, pros and cons, the review video and a Google Play button – plus Google Play cards for “top games” lists.
- Platform menus (Mobile Games, PC & Console) with Reviews, Tips & Tricks and Guides inside each.
- A “My games” section with screenshots, trailers and the privacy and data-safety pages every Google Play game needs.
Design approach
Gamers browse by platform first and by type of post second, so the menu follows that order. Scores, video badges and platform chips make each card readable at a glance in both languages.
Results and next steps
The site launched with 16 guides in both languages and is ready for the channel’s reviews. See more works.
