CineBreaking covers Tamil cinema news, reviews, box office and OTT updates. The site had to work in two languages and feel like a real news portal. It goes live at cinebreaking.com.
What I built for CineBreaking
- A bold news-portal layout: hero stories, colour-coded sections, a red breaking-news ticker and a trending list.
- A bilingual system without plugins – Tamil at the main address, English under /en/, with linked translations and correct hreflang tags.
- A review box with star ratings that Google can show in search results.
- Automatic YouTube video listings from the CineBreaking channel.
- Ad slots for Google AdSense and a lightweight view counter for trending stories.
Design approach
News readers scan quickly, so headlines, section colours and dates do most of the work, and the same design works in both Tamil and English. Strong typography rules keep long headlines readable in both scripts.
