What this web design course covers

  • HTML: page structure, text, links, images, lists, tables, forms and semantic elements.
  • CSS: selectors, colours, fonts, the box model, Flexbox, Grid, responsive design and simple animations.
  • JavaScript basics: enough to add menus, tabs and small interactive features.
  • Publishing: putting your site online with a domain name and hosting.
  • A final project: you design and build a complete multi-page website.

Who it is for

No coding experience is needed. You need a computer, a web browser and a free code editor such as Visual Studio Code. If you already know some HTML, we can skip ahead to the parts you need.
