The Google UX Design Certificate is not my own course – it is Google’s UX design certificate programme on Coursera. I completed it in 2022 and I recommend it to beginners who want a structured, step-by-step introduction to the UX design process.
What the Google UX Design Certificate covers
The programme walks through the full design process: understanding users, defining problems, sketching and wireframing, building prototypes in design tools and testing them with people. Along the way you create projects you can show in a portfolio. The full syllabus and the current list of courses are on Coursera’s Google UX Design page.
Who it suits
- Beginners who like learning at their own pace with videos and graded assignments.
- People switching careers who want a recognised certificate to show employers.
- Developers who want to understand how designers think.
Fees and enrolment
Enrolment, fees and financial aid options are on Coursera and can change, so check there for the current details. If you are not sure whether the Google UX Design Certificate suits you, message me on WhatsApp and I will tell you honestly what to expect.
